Amanda is a pelvic floor physical therapist, birth doula, and co-owner of Bloom Physical Therapy & Wellness. Amanda’s passion for women’s health started early in her career as an orthopedic physical therapist and grew with the birth of her first baby. She enjoys using a holistic approach with her clients, and she has a special interest in helping women get back to exercise, especially running.
As a certified birth doula, Amanda integrates her knowledge to help clients prepare for labor and delivery. She earned her B.S. in rehabilitation psychology from UW-Madison and her doctorate in physical therapy from UW-La Crosse. She also holds a pregnancy and postpartum corrective specialist certification (PCES) and is working towards a Pelvic Rehab Fertility Certification (PRFS).
